WELCOME TO THE PRACTICE

A private optometry practice specialising in high-quality, clinically-focussed eyecare and neuro-optometry.

"As a Consulting Neuro-Optometrist, my goal is to provide you with the highest standard of eye care in an environment where you don’t feel like you’re primarily here to be sold new glasses or contact lenses.

I offer comprehensive, tailored eye examinations based on your individual needs as a patient."

ABOUT PROF. CHRISTIAN FRENCH

Prof. Christian French - Consulting Neuro-Optometrist, based in Leicester, UK.

My passion for optometry runs through everything that I do. Everyone’s eyes are different and I am a firm believer that getting it right cannot be rushed. I also think that my patients should leave the practice with a better understanding of their own eyes, and I will always strive to answer whatever questions you may have.

I look forward to seeing you at an appointment.

ABOUT MY SERVICES

A patient receiving a neuro-optometry consultation for patients with visual processing difficulties.

Sight is a precious sense, and one that most of us would readily admit that we cannot do without. An eye examination is not merely about reading the bottom line on the letter chart, nor is it something that only people who wear spectacles or contact lenses should have. Our eyes can show us so much about our general health and wellbeing, and a thorough check of your ocular health is important.

My ethos is to take the time to give you a thorough examination and ensure that your eyes and vision are as healthy and efficient as possible. Eye exams have become intrinsically linked with buying glasses breaks away from that to focus solely on eye health; allowing you to sort spectacles out (if needed) at a later date.

As well as routine eye examinations and contact lens checks for all ages, I also work with visual processing disorders and visual rehabilitation following brain injury. I am happy to take on complex cases, second opinions and expert witness work, spending the time to ensure that we get to the root of what is going on and working out what we can do to help make things better.
